Nokia released today a new Windows Phone app for the Nokia Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 called PhotoBeamer to share photos using QR codes.

AT&T will launch its Samsung Rugby 3 smartphone offering this December 14.
According to the U.S. telecoms carrier, the rugged flip phone is the fifth-generation device from the Samsung Rugby series and support’s the firm’s enhanced PTT (ePTT) service.
The Samsung Rugby 3 comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a 3MP rear-facing camera and a dedicated PTT button.

Nokia has unveiled a Nokia City Lens 1.5 beta app for Nokia Lumia handsets that run on Windows Phone 7.
Nokia City Lens, developed exclusively for the Nokia Lumia family, is the first app to provide what the Finnish phone maker calls a LiveSight-enabled experience.

Nokia revealed on Wednesday it had filed lawsuits in Europe and America against BlackBerry maker Research In Motion (RIM) for breaching its patent contracts.
