“We’ve been hard at work designing and building Windows 8, and today we want to begin an open dialog with those of you who will be trying out the pre-release version over the coming months,” Windows Division President at Microsoft Steven Sinofsky wrote.
The executive also vowed that Microsoft will be posting regularly about Windows 8 through the Building Windows 8 site.
“We intend to post regularly throughout the development of Windows 8, and to focus on the engineering of the product. Welcome to “Building Windows 8,” or as we call it, ‘B8.’,” he wrote.
Sinofsky also ensured that the Windows team will be taking into consideration comments and opinions from the community made through the Building Windows 8 site.
What’s certain now, however, is more will be revealed about Windows 8 at the upcoming BUILD conference scheduled for September 13.
