What a time to be alive if you are a diehard LinkedIn fan. The professional social media company has started rolling out its new video feature, and will be available via its mobile app. You will now be able to record and upload up to 10 minutes of native video that can be viewed by others, reports Inc.
As expected, recording can be done horizontally or vertically, which is one common feature with other major social media platforms like Facebook. Still available to only a handful of users because it is still being rolled out by LinkedIn, the new video feature is a new avenue for marketers to make a statement online.
Like I said earlier, it’s the perfect time to be alive for every marketer as it presents them with a bumper opportunity to market their products and services to more people. Though, the professional social network platform is a bit late when it comes to video feature, marketers won’t mind because of the abundance of opportunities it presents to everyone.
Why LinkedIn’s Native Video sharing feature offers much hope for business than what we have in other social media platforms. Of course, you will be able to access data and statistics of your video views on Facebook and Twitter, LinkedIn does it much better than those two platforms. LinkedIn’s new feature offers you incisive analysis including data of where people who view your videos work, the title of their jobs, and top markets where your videos are being viewed. You will also be able to access rich data about number of likes, comments, views, and shares.
In terms of valuable insights, you won’t get a better and richer view than what LinkedIn has in stock compared to other rival platforms. LinkedIn is data driven, and invests millions of dollars providing the right tools to help people achieve their minimum goal.
For brands and businesses, it’s one more addition that can turn things around for everyone. Imagine having a platform to showcase your rich and powerful storytelling video to millions of people out there.
Video storytelling is here to stay. Every brand wants a share of the spoil—and no one wants to be left out of the unlimited possibilities available through platforms available to them. Brands are finding things so easy these days—promoting products and services has never been this easy. Video has become a huge part of conventional social media marketing—and LinkedIn just swelled the rank by adding Native Video sharing.
