The LG Prada 3.0 is now for sale in Korea after only two weeks from the handset’s official announcement at a joint London event held in December 15.
According to the LG News Room (Korean), the Android smartphone is currently available (started on December 28) on the local market but is set to arrive in Europe and other Asian markets within this month, January 2012, while other countries will have to wait for further announcements.
The LG Prada 3.0 touts an ultrathin body measuring a mere 8.5mm and Saffiano, a special plastic back cover that closely matches up to Prada leather.
The handset packs Android 2.3 Gingerbread (upgradable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich when available), a 4.3-inch LG NOVA display (800 nits brightness), a 1GHz Cortex-A9 dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM.
It also has an 8MP rear-facing camera and standard connectivity options such as Bluetooth, GPS, HSPA+ and Wi-Fi.
Its package comes with a Bluetooth headset, an MHL adapter that doubles as a kickstand for landscape viewing of videos, a standard headphone, and an upcoming docking station.
In Korea, the LG Prada 3.0 price depends on the wireless carrier’s contract plans, but a SIM-free version is available for 899,800 won (approximately $780).
