Dell’s Latest laptop, the XPS 12, is to be launched on Friday at an initial price of 1,199.99 US $ per unit. The XPS 12 boast being a convertible laptop, with an easel-like flipping display with a Windows 8 OS.
The latest unit is a laptop and tablet in one, with its monitor becoming a touch-screen tablet by simply flipping it, as said by Dell in a media release.
The display is made dynamic by being in Full HD, with 90% more pixels than the typical High-Definition screen, great for watching videos and reading.

Once flipped, the display serves as a keyboard cover, shielding it from dust, liquids, and other things that could harm the keyboard. The unit runs with an Intel Core i5-3317U processor, with a 2.6GHz , 3M Cache.
Other specs of the convertible include a weight of 1.5 kg, 128 GB of Solid State Drive and a High Definition screen having 1,080 pixels and a width of 12.5-inches.
Even though the product is yet to be released, orders could already be made through the company’s website.
