Apple has opened preorders for its newest smartphone, the iPhone 4S, in 22 more countries.
According to Apple, preorders for the iPhone 4S has been opened in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
The iPhone 4S is already on sale in the U.S. Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and the U.K.
Apple launched the iPhone 4S on October 4 and released it in the said countries on October 14.
The company said at the device’s launch that it will be released in other countries at the end of October.
Apple has developed the iPhone 4S to be a “world phone”, capable of working on various flavors of wireless telecommunications standards used by mobile carriers around the world.
Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, has also expressed that with the launch of the iPhone 4S, Apple will see record iPhone sales this quarter.
