An iPhone 4 seemingly decided it does not want to work anymore and spontaneously caught fire while its owner was aboard a flight last Friday in Australia.
According to Regional Express, an Australian airline, the iPhone 4 started to produce “significant amounts of dense smoke, accompanied by a red glow”.
The Regional Express flight has just landed in Sydney when the incident with the spontaneously-combusting iPhone 4 happened.
In a press release the airline has sent out, it said:

Regional Express (Rex) flight ZL319 operating from Lismore to Sydney today had an occurrence after landing, when a passenger’s mobile phone started emitting a significant amount of dense smoke, accompanied by a red glow.
In accordance with company standard safety procedures, the Flight Attendant carried out recovery actions immediately and the red glow was extinguished successfully.
All passengers and crew on board were unharmed.

No apparent reason!? Jeez, people! Take a good look at the picture! You can see Steve Jobs’ silhouette in the Apple logo. This guy opened his case and replaced the backing with an aftermarket one. That alone voids the warranty and he probably messed something up inside the phone before he sealed it. This entire story is one big fail!
The “Steve Jobs silhouette” is clearly not there. The distortion is due to the cracked glass distorting the image….. I agree with Aaron… that’s the standard logo.
The continuity of the crack is quite obvious, with the other side protruding slightly.
Joe is one big failed apple fanboi. The iFasion is a crap product with many many faults which of course apple won’t admit to.

I think its a normal logo and looks similar to the Steve Jobs logo because of the damage. Here is the Steve Jobs logo:
