The iOS 4.3 beta recently seeded to developers is apparently a minefield of clues about Apple Inc.’s devices as reports say that an image included in the beta release indicates that the iPad 2 will be launched on Feb. 9.
According to iPad.net, the snapshot of iPad’s home screen may just confirm previous rumors that the iPad 2 will be released on the said date.
The calendar icon on the image displays Wednesday, 9, which iPad.net says could be February the 9th which is a Wednesday.
However, March 9 also falls on a Wednesday making it a possible launch date for the iPad 2.
The image came from the second beta release of iOS 4.3 which has recently given developers the hint that the iPad 2 will have two cameras.
According to iPad.net 9to5 Mac notes that Apple has given hints through calendar icons of launch dates for its products.
The site reports:
“According to 9to5mac, a promo image for the iPhone 4 showed a calendar date of a Monday the 7th—prior to the device being officially announced on Monday, June 7, 2010. A similar case occurred with an image of the iPhone 3G, which left a clue that the phone would later launch on Monday, June 9, 2008.”
The report says that a Feb. 9 launch would be sensible since HP will be announcing their own tablet on that day.
However, Verizon will be launching its iPhone 4 Feb. 10 and iPad.net notes that an iPad 2 release a day before the Verizon iPhone 4 will launch may be too many big Apple events in two consecutive days.

I wonder if Stephen Cobert is going to make Salsa like he did with Ipad one? /watch?v=JwPvuMqNj2U
or the BlendTech “Will it Blend” too funny, my ovaries hurt watching those.
Obviously the iPad will be released in April like last year’s model. And had it ever occured to you that February 9th or March 9th could be the 4.3 release?
