A while back my husband told me “I need a backpack!” But he didn’t want a simple backpack. He wanted something that will be suitable for work and travel. A backpack that will be water-resistant, it could fit his laptop, tablet and notebooks. And he could easily carry on an airplane. After searching i found the perfect backpack that it will meet his needs and it is also stylish. The HURU backpack!

Now, you might ask what makes HURU so special allow me to tell you. First of all the handmade backpack is ideal for both the office and the outdoors. The team behind the backpack used premium materials such as the army-approved, water-resistant Cordura fabric, best in the world YKK zippers and custom steel stoppers and fasteners.

The Condura fabric is water-resistant which means that everything in your bag is safe. So, you won’t need an extra cover for the backpack. You will also find a water-resistant hood stored in the backpack, ready to protect you when it starts to rain.

Another feature that will make your travels and commutes much easier is the belt,  which can be transformed into a detachable waist bag. You simply take it off and store your wallet, bank cards, phone, keys and other valuables in it.

And if you want to keep your water bottle at the perfect temperature there is a special heat insulating compartment to store drinks.

As for space you will get 24 liters of capacity but with one simple move you will get 40 liters. Amazing right? In addition it opens like a suitcase, which makes makes packing so much easier. And its size is great for the hand luggage compartment on the airplane.

I, also, love backpacks. But i always have an issue with the weight i could carry. If i carry too many stuff my back would definitely suffer afterwards. But, with this backpack you will get a lateral stiffness plastic base installed in the backpack’s rear section to spread the load across the whole back, thus drastically decreasing pressure on parts of the spine that would normally be compromised by backpack usage. Less spinal pressure, more happy travelers.

Besides the main compartment it has two extra compartments: one for a 15 inch laptop and a smaller one for a book, a tablet, or some documents. Also, there is a separate roll-up compartment where you can store items up to 20.6 inches (53 cm high). And let’s not forget that each strap has a secret pocket for keys, bank cards or an ID card. But only you can access them, not anyone else.

HURU was created by Oleg Vlasenko, a serial entrepreneur, who does a lot of travelling, both for business and pleasure, and has tried plenty of backpacks, but they never quite satisfied him. And then he decided to create HURU.

If the time has come to get a new backpack check HURU here.

The backpack launched today on Kickstarter on September 26 and the first shipments for super early birds will take place in November 2017, before production ends. The remaining backpacks will be shipped to all backers in February 2018.
