Mother’s Day is here again, and Google wants you to show just how much you treasure and appreciate her. So, if you don’t know how to show your appreciation, Google Photos can help you sort yourself out.

With Google Photos, Google will help you out with a short video featuring your mother and maybe you or your little ones. The app will scan through your photo collection and put together a slideshow of old pictures that bring back old memories.

The first thing is to have your pictures, and of course, that of your mother uploaded to Google Photos, then visit this page to create a slideshow. You will also need to identify your mother from the pictures you have uploaded—and once done, the app will take it up from there.

After a while, you will be presented with a video slideshow on the Assistant screen, which can then be saved to your desktop or mobile device. You can even share a link created during the process of creating the video via your favorite social media websites.

I personally fancy the idea of sharing the video link as it helps you to tell the entire world how much you love your mother. Mothers occupy a special place in our heart, and what better ways to express a token of love towards them. Maybe not enough to show appreciation for what your mother did, but it’s a lovely place to start from on the occasion of the 2017 Mother’s Day.

With Google Photos, every update moves it closer to that perfect photo app that everyone truly can’t get enough of. The last update for example, took the app a level ahead of rival apps with an automatic video stabilizing feature.

The automatic video stabilizing feature added last month has the capability of automatically stabilizing videos in your camera roll with just a tap. Updating Google Photos with stabilization feature turns the app into one of the best you can get when it comes to shooting a top quality video. If you have a phone that lacks steadying anything, now you have the right app to stabilize things and help turn your shots to professional works.

Google Photos also recently added a functionality that automatically corrects the white balance in any image you open. This will solve a lot of stress and make your picture look like that of a pro. It means you no longer need a third-party tool in the form of an editing tool to correct off tones.

Auto white balance has already rolled out to both Android and web; but iOS users may have to wait a little longer. A few other editing tools were also added to the app, including, quick rotate, and ability to easily and quickly edit a photo on the web.

Google also recently added a new feature that makes it easier to back up your photos no matter the connection.

Photos just keeps getting better, and what a way to go with the latest update. So, go out there and treat your mother to an unforgettable Mother’s Day experience.
