One of Google’s most interesting apps, Gboard has some fascinating new features. The keyboard app from Google, which is one of the most popular apps in its category now has handwriting support and fast delete. The two new features were part of three additions to the app—the third one being URL field suggestions.

All three new additions are going to increase your love for the Gboard app. The handwriting feature simply means the app can convert your handwriting to text. So, all you have to do is to write on your phone and your handwriting will be converted into text.

Gboard will also now show suggestions in the URL field when you type. This will speed up your search, especially as you will now be equipped with suggestions as you type addresses.

Google also announced support for more languages. The newly added languages are: Awadhi, Bambara, Bundeli, Emilian-Romagnol, Fulani, Gilaki, Hiligaynon, Jamaican Patois, Kumaoni, Lambadi, Lombard, Madurese, Minangkabau, Mazanderani, Nahuatl, Neapolitan, Norwegian (Nynorsk), Piedmontese, Sadri, Santali (Devanagari and Bengali), Sicilian, Sylheti, Venetian, and Zazaki.

All updates are now available on the Google Play Store where you can read to find out more about the Google Gboard keyboard app.

Last September Google added support for downloadable stickers and Bitmoji to Gboard. This can then be used in any app that supports image pasting. All you need to access and start using Bitmoji or download sticker pack is to have the latest version of Gboard on your phone—and of course, you can do that via the Play Store.

Prior to the last update that was made last September, Gboard welcomed two exciting features that let you search YouTube videos and maps—those were added last July.

The Maps feature lets you share your current location, while the YouTube option lets you search for your favorite videos.

To use the newly added Map feature on Gboard, simply tap the “G” button at the top-left corner of the app’s interface, followed by the Maps to share your current location with your friends and loved ones. You can also search for a location to share using the new feature; simply follow the same procedure as sharing your current location.

To search for a YouTube video on the Gboard app, simply tap on the “G” button, followed by YouTube to search for any video of your choice. You can share searched videos with your friends without leaving the Gboard app on your iOS smartphone.

There is also an Ink feature that lets you draw and share your creations right from your keyboard. You can do this by tapping on the emoji button and then the pen icon on the app.

With the app, you can search straight from within the app just by using the standard Google search. You can also swipe between letters to type, thereby, speeding up word processing. To type, you can slide from key to key.
