Still on stickers, Google recently added support for downloadable stickers and Bitmoji to Gboard. This can then be used in any app that supports image pasting.

Some sticker packs that include the NBAmoji, Google Allo selfie stickers, Hello Kitty Garfield, and many others have been added. Of course, many of these stickers are available at no cost, but you may have to pay $2 if you want to add sticker packs such as Star Wars, Mickey Mouse, and Toy Story.

Version 7.0.2 which was released last February added a new interface that allows you to search all categories. It came with a carousal for swiping through the results of queries you enter.

That’s not all though, Chinese and Korean languages were also included in the popular keyboard app. Alongside those new features, Google also added a minor keyboard selection option as well as an autocomplete feature for email addresses.

A lot of updates and changes were made to the keyboard app in 2017. Last July for instance, Google updated the app when it added the ability to let you search YouTube videos and Maps. The feature will let you share your current location and search for your favorite videos.

To use the Map feature on Gboard, simply tap the “G” button at the top-left corner of the app’s interface, followed by the Maps to share your current location with your friends and loved ones. You can also search for a location to share using the new feature; simply follow the same procedure as sharing your current location.

To search for a YouTube video on the Gboard app, simply tap on the “G” button, followed by YouTube to search for any video of your choice. You can share searched videos with your friends without leaving the keyboard app on your iOS smartphone.
