Gaming laptop Samsung 700G7A revealed during Gamescom 2011

samsung-700g7a-gaming-laptopsDuring the currently ongoing Gamescom 2011 in Cologne, Samsung Electronics has demonstrated its first gaming laptop with successfully implemented advanced technology ExpressCache from Diskeeper Corporation, enabling it to store the most frequently used data on the SSD to speed up the access.

Samsung Series 7 Gamer 700G7A is enclosed in a stylish slim body and has a cool backlit keyboard, perfect for all-night gaming. The W, A, S, and D keys that are frequently used for gaming are highlighted in red, all else is blue.

The laptop is equipped with 17.3-inch LCD display with Full HD-resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and LED backlighting, and under the hood is the processor from series quad-core Intel Core i7. In addition, the machine is powered by:

Up to 16 GB of RAM;

Up to 1.5 TB of disk space;

8 GB SSD-drive for the needs of ExpressCache technology;

Discrete graphics card AMD Radeon HD 6970M with 2 GB of memory;

Optical drive Blu-ray;

Wireless Adapter Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n;

Bluetooth 3.0;

USB 3.0 and HDMI

It is expected that Samsung Series 7 Gamer 700G7A gaming laptops will be released in Europe on September 12 at a retail price tag of 1800 euros.
