Facebook pages manager app is now available for Android users. This app allows Facebook page administrators to keep in touch with their audiences and have access to other Facebook page activities. The app is available in the Google Play store.
The app has a variety of functions, including letting admins post photos and updates. Through this app, admins can also reply to comments posted on their pages. Private messaging is also enabled, and admins are notified for recent page activities. Furthermore, insights can also be viewed regarding their pages.
The app is available for Android devices running version 2.2 and higher.
This update validates Facebook’s desire to create apps for smart devices. For example, Facebook has been currently testing its messenger application in some countries for such features as voice messaging and VoIP. By using this app, users can call for free wherever there is a cellular data or Wi-Fi connection.
As of present, only iPhone users from Canada can enjoy this VoIP service. If things go well though, the app can be made available to Android users across the world as well.
During the past few months, Facebook has seemed to be making changes related to adding voice and call messaging functions to their apps. Aside from the new Android Messager, Facebook also released Poke, which is a message app that self-destructs, similar to Snapchat.
