Facebook users can now promote their posts so that their message can be seen by more of their friends. All they have to do is pay 7 dollars for the service, which is now available in 20 countries.

On average, a certain Facebook post can only be seen by 12 to 16 percent of the friends of the user who posted the message.

With this new promote feature, Facebook users will find that their posts will as much as quadruple in terms of views, and will reach the top of the news feed list.

Seven dollars might be a bit too expensive for just getting more views, but this may be the only solution for people on the go. Promoted posts are then labeled as sponsored, to show that these posts are worth 7 dollars of your money.

Promoting Facebook posts is good if you don’t have time to call your family and friends or personally let them know about a certain event you are announcing. Perhaps one drawback to this feature is that the abusive, rich users can just promote all of their posts.
