Facebook users can now extend birthday greetings, congratulate new parents, or wish friends happy holidays with gifts from babyGap, Brookstone, Dean & Deluca, Fab, L’Occitane, Lindt, NARS Cosmetics, ProFlowers, and Random House, Inc.
Subscriptions to Hulu Plus, Pandora, Rdio and more allow users to give friends access to favorite TV shows and music.
The social network promises to include wines from Robert Mondavi Winery and Chandon in future updates.
On November 5, Facebook launched a new beta feature on Facebook Gifts to send contributions to charitable institutions in celebration of a family member or close friend.
Facebook Gifts launched on September in the United States as a gift service for users to buy and send products to friends within the social network.
Facebook Gifts will add more retail partners and roll out to more people over the coming weeks.
