Facebook Adds Share Button To Android, iOS, And Facebook Mobile

Facebook has updated its mobile apps for Android and iOS devices and its mobile website to add a Share button on all News Feed stories.

On Thursday, November 15, Facebook, the world’s largest social network, added a new feature to its mobile website and mobile apps for Android devices, iPhones and iPads.

“You can now use the Share button on News Feed stories from your phone whether you’re using the Facebook for Android app, the Facebook for iPhone and iPad app, or the Facebook mobile web site,” said Aditya Koolwal, product manager, Facebook, in a statement. “This gives people a fast way to share stories with friends from their mobile phones, just as they can from their computers.”

Users who will click the Share button right from a News Feed story in the Facebook app or on the mobile site can re-post it on their own Timeline for friends to see the story.

Facebook for Android, Facebook for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, and the Facebook Mobile site have all been updated to support the feature.
