Microsoft’s Xbox 360 led the U.S. gaming console market in October for its 22nd consecutive month, reports research and analytics firm NPD Group.
According to a blog post by Microsoft, the latest NPD statistics saw 270,000 unit sales of Xbox 360 last month. The Japan-based game console giant Nintendo is slashing its predicted profit for the year by 70 percent, from 250 million US$ to 75 million US$, as reported by the company on Wednesday.
