Mobile app downloads may be ranging in the tens of billions and apps may be the hot new topic but the Internet seems to be fighting back and regaining lost territory.
According to a study done be Nielson that tracked 5,000 metered smartphones, the top five retailers in the US, Amazon, Best Buy, eBay, Target and Walmart all found that in as much as there was a lot of app usage during the holidays, mobile Internet also peaked during the same period.
