Catmoji Gives Cat and Cat Owners Their Own Social Network

Cats and cat owners, and people who love cats, now have a social network made especially for them: Catmoji.

The recently-launched social network for cats looks like Pinterest and is literally an overload of cat photos – which is great for people who love cats.

The site features browsing through cat photos tagged emotions like “sad”, “surprise” and the like.

Founded by cat-lovers Matthew Phiong and Koekoe Loo who hail from Malaysia, Catmoji aims to become the “Facebook for cats”.

In an interview with BetaBeat, Phiong and Loo say that this is a serious venture.

They say their charge is “to make the Internet a better and happier place with cats.”

For people annoyed with overly-zealous cat-photo-sharing friends on Facebook or other social networks, a social network for cats and cat lovers where that is the exact behavior that is encouraged will make the internet a “better and happier place”. It’s a win-win.

Here’s a photo of the Catmoji homepage.
