Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies has crept inside the Google Play Store during the weekend to thrill gaming enthusiasts who use mobile devices running on the Android operating system (OS).
The first-person shooter (FPS) video game, and winner of Apple’s Silver Award on iOS, comes with three maps: Ascension, Call of the Dead and Kino Der Toten. It features 50 levels of shooting in Deep-Ops Arcade mode.
The only main hindrance is its exclusivity to owners of a few Android-running Sony devices, namely the Xperia Play, Xperia S and Xperia tablets. Not to fret about it though, as reports say that all Android device owners will virtually be able to download and install the app later this month.
The best part of it, for Xperia owners at least, is that four people who own supported devices can get immersed into the game cooperatively and wirelessly through a Wi-Fi connection.
Another key feature of Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies is the implementation of a new in-app purchasing system, where players are allowed to buy points for premium items such as weapons and bonuses in the single-player campaign.
The game is now available for download at the price of $6.99 in the US and £4.99 in the UK.
