Blackberry BBM is now connected with Facebook and Twitter, according to Research In Motion (RIM), the Canada-based company which popularized the BlackBerry brand.
With BlackBerry Messenger, you can now share your tweets or Facebook status updates to your contacts directly through the BBM app.
In addition, the travel app of Blackberry will have revisions so that users can share their flight plans to anyone in their community friends list.
The apps are called Twitter for Blackberry and Facebook for Blackberry. Through these apps, users can automatically update their activities on the social networking sites. The new BBM is now on version 6.2.
Aside from these new updates, BBM 6.2 is also integrated with the storefront of Blackberry App World, and that connects with the new Twitter and Facebook connectivity, with the ability to use these social networking sites to recommend apps for download.
BBM version 6.2 also has other new features, including sharing voice notes and animated avatars.
