The black variant of the current Samsung flagship smartphone Galaxy S3 is now almost in hand as UK retailer Mobile Fun offers the highly anticipated version for pre-order.
Last week, the world’s largest phone maker inadvertently uploaded a picture of the black Galaxy S3 smartphone on its Facebook page, which meant that a UK release was likely to happen sooner than expected.
Samsung clarified the issue by saying that it “doesn’t comment on rumour or speculation”, but the handset is now already available for pre-order in the UK.
Laura Hogan, online marketing executive of Mobile Fun, tells us in an email that a SIM free version of the black Samsung Galaxy S3 is now available for £499.95 on pre-order.
The UK retailer promises shipments of the mobile device will start in “4-6 weeks”, which means that phone could be on-site at IFA later this month.
“I’ve got some big and pretty exciting Samsung Galaxy S3 news…. We’re going to be stocking the Black version of the monster handset,” said Hogan. “We’re expecting it in 4-6 weeks and it’ll be the same price as our other S3′s.”
