Microsoft and Boeing, the two largest private employers in Washington, are pledging $25 million each for a public-private scholarship program for deserving and qualified students in the state.

The iCloud will be forcing its own older brother to retire soon.

Apple’s just-launched iCloud service has spelled the demise of MobileMe, as the consumer electronics giant emailed MobileMe users on Monday that MobileMe will be shut down in June 2012.
“Your MobileMe subscription will be automatically extended through June 30, 2012, at no additional charge. After that date, MobileMe will no longer be available,” Computer World quotes the email from the iDevices maker.

Hacker group Lulz Security (LulzSec) has claimed responsibility for hacking into the systems of an FBI-affiliated group called InfraGard, various reports say.

According to U.K. publication The Register, the group has defaced the website of Atlanta-based InfraGard. The Associated Press says that 180 login credential which include passwords and other sensitive information from members of InfraGard has been leaked in the attack.
