AT&T today announced the opening of their new store at Magnificent Mile, Chicago. This Michigan Avenue store is said to be the embodiment of their advertising tagline “It’s what you do with what we do.” AT&T retail sales and service president Paul Roth said that the new store will provide customers the opportunity to explore the new technology offered by the AT&T brand as well as other products and services offered by all the 2300+ retail stores nationwide.
In the Explorer Lounge, customers can learn about new apps through the one-on-one demos displayed by the App Bar, or on multiple video monitors on the App Wall. You can also test out the new smart phones and other mobile devices displayed on the product runway.
AT&T plans to unveil retail demos for their new Digital Life technology which includes security and automation services for homes as well as a demo on how technology can help in driving. In addition, the new store will feature products and accessories by Chicago-area artists, exclusively available to the so-called Windy City. This store, which is their largest yet, is geared towards showcasing future technological wireless inventions that can be expected to roll out in the near future. As most companies turn “green”, AT&T’s eco ratings will enable the customer to learn about the brand’s environmentally friendly post paid mobile devices.
