Apple announced Monday that Senior Vice President for iOS Software Scott Forstall and Senior Vice President for Retail John Browett will both be leaving the iPhone maker.
In a press release, Apple said that the changes are being put in place to “encourage even more collaboration between the Company’s world-class hardware, software and service teams.”

The impending launch of the iPad Mini triggered a lot of current iPad owners to offer their devices up for sale, data from two resale sites reveal.
According to The Wall Street Journal’s MarketWatch, Gazelle.com and NextWorth.com both saw a very substantial swell in iPad resale postings just before the launch of the iPad Mini.
Gazelle reportedly saw a 700 percent increase in iPad resale postings on Tuesday for a total of 140,000 iPads offered for sale by current owners.

Apple revealed record-breaking profit and revenue figures for the quarter which ended September of 2012. Despite creeping concerns within the company, Apple managed to have 58 percent higher sales for the iPhone compared to last year’s sales during the same quarter.

Aside from detailing a solid ending quarter for the fiscal year, Apple also revealed a trove of information during its earnings call on Thursday.

Apple Q4: Record $8.2Bn Profit, $36Bn Revenue

Apple on Thursday reported a record $8.2 billion in net profit for the fourth quarter of the company’s financial year on a record $36 billion revenue.
This is a marked increase from the same year-ago quarter when Apple posted a $6.62 billion net profit on $28.27 billion revenue.
This net profit translates to an earnings per share (EPS) of $8.67, higher than Apple’s guidance of $7.05.
