Chinese Company Huawei Technologie has announced its Android based Smartphones Ideos X5 and X6, which were first reported in late October. In the first stage these new gadgets will be made available in the Australian market beginning the second quarter of 2011.
Model Ideos X6, built on a gigahertz chip of series Qualcomm Snapdragon, is equipped with a 4.1-inch capacitive touch screen with 480 × 800 pixels (WVGA), Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, GPS, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and can record video in 720p HD format, FM-radio, 512 MB RAM, 2 GB of internal memory, a slot for MicroSD flash card and an HDMI connector to connect to ‘high definition’ TV. Dolby Mobile technology has been used for the audio output.
There is not much known about the second model Huawei Ideos X5: The device has a 3.8-inch touch screen with the same resolution as the first model, GPS and a 5-megapixel camera. Probably it does not support HD-video recording.
Both the devices run on operating system Android2.2.
