Tech blog AndroSym has posted alleged “leaked slides” that highlights an upcoming Windows Phone handset from Nokia, which touts the same striking 41MP camera sensor PureView technology.
Early impressions to the purported Finnish phone maker’s impending handset are highly unfavorable due to its rather ugly design and form factor.
However, other observers actually liked the Nokia 808 PureView design so the saying, ‘Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, applies here. To cut the chase, see the leaked slides below.
For an easier read, here are the specs of the alleged Nokia Lumia PureView:
- 4.3″ Curved Glass touchscreen with HD display
- 41mp sensor, Carl Zeiss lens and PureView imaging technology
- 1080p full HD video recording and Rich Recording Technology
- Dual Core processor with Adreno 320 GPU
- Windows Phone Operating System
With the current build of Windows Phone 7, a 41MP sensor would be beyond its capacity for additional support.
This fact alone should give birth to an assumption that the upcoming Nokia Lumia PureView will run on Windows Phone Apollo.
The new design on the Windows capacitive button is noticeably copying the Windows 8 style.
As opposed to Nokia 808 PureView, this handset will be different, with a significantly curved front and an isolated flash from the camera module.
