Barnes & Noble has just lowered the price of its Nook tablets but now a more discounted 16GB Nook tablet has appeared on Overstock.com.

The site is offering refurbished 16GB Nook tablets for $140 while supplies last. You’ll have to pay $2.95 for shipping though.

We’re pretty sure this deal will not last long as that is a discount of $39 from the retail price of a similar but brand new 16GB Nook tablet.

For those who may be worrying though about the warranty Barnes & Noble gives for the 16GB Nook, the tablet will still get a full year of warranty.

Overstock also has an 8GB version of the Nook tablet for $135 but the additional $5 on the 16GB model is much more economical.

The 16GB Nook tablet is equipped with a customized Android OS (you can root this though and install a stock version of Android), a 7-inch screen and a dual-core processor.
